Polk County Chamber of Commerce

We’ve Moved!

We’re excited to announce that our office has moved into a new “temporary permanent” location at 1857 US-64 in Benton, TN. We invite you to stop by and say hello! Alongside serving as the Chamber’s home base, our office also doubles as a friendly visitor center, offering helpful information about where to stay, where to eat, and what to do in our beautiful area. Looking ahead, our Board is actively working to secure a more permanent home that will fully support the Chamber’s long-term goals and mission—right here along this same convenient corridor. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note that because we operate with a small team, we occasionally close for meetings or off-site appointments. We recommend giving us a quick call to confirm we’re in before you stop by.

About the new location, Chamber Board president, Jennie DeCook, says it best – “This relocation positions the Chamber to better serve our members and act as a true welcome center for visitors to our area. The increased visibility and accessibility of this new space allows us to strengthen our community presence and support continued growth across Polk County.” Check our Calendar of Events or follow Polk County Chamber of Commerce’s social media for updates on a planned Open House later this summer. For any questions, please contact the office at (423) 338-5040 or via email at westoffice@ocoeecountry.com.

We look forward to welcoming you soon and helping you make the most of your time in Polk County!

Polk County Chamber of Commerce to
Open New Welcome Center in Historic Downtown Copperhill

If you attended the recent banquet, you probably heard the news of our plans to open a new Welcome Center in the heart of historic downtown Copperhill. Jennie DeCook, Chamber Board President, stated, “The new space will serve as a resource hub for visitors exploring the Copper Basin area, offering brochures, maps, and information on local attractions, including our outdoor recreation, lodging, dining, entertainment, and more. It is our goal to provide valuable insights to help a first-time visitor or a long-time fan of the area make the most of their time in the Copper Basin and Polk County.”

Opening date and operating hours will be announced soon, as well as details on an upcoming open house to explore the Center and visit with our Chamber staff and Board members. Check back here or follow Polk County Chamber of Commerce on social media for those updates. Members in the hospitality area may contact the Chamber office at (423) 338-5040 for information on displaying materials in the Welcome Center.
