Leadership Polk Returns

Leadership Polk is returning this fall!

A 6-month program that will run September-November/January-March with graduation in April, Leadership Polk’s mission is to educate, inform, and prepare individuals to become involved in the leadership of Polk County. Monthly sessions will cover History, Criminal Justice, Healthcare, Education, Government, Agriculture, Tourism/Recreation, Industry, Community Involvement, and more.

The goal of the program is to raise awareness of both the opportunities and challenges in Polk County, while educating the participants to serve in leadership roles within the community. The program will foster the development of a group of professionals who will learn and grow together during the course.

Tuition will be $300, which will cover meals, transportation to any out-of-town locations, as well as a Leadership Polk shirt. The class will be open to 12 participants and a high school student from each high school in the Polk County School System. Sponsorship opportunities are available for the student tuitions – if interested please contact the office for more information.

Application may be downloaded and returned to the Chamber of Commerce at P.O. Box 560, Benton, TN 37307 or via email to westoffice@ocoeecountry.com. Deadline for applications is August 19, 2022.

We are excited to revive this wonderful program and learn more about Polk County together!
