Experience soaring! See Ocoee Country from the sky and take in the true majesty of the Southern Appalachians and the scenic Hiwassee River. The Chilhowee Gliderport has offered rides, instruction, and towing for sailplanes since the late 1970’s. Open year round, weather permitting, from 11:00 AM -6:00 PM every Friday through Sunday. Weekdays by appointment. Walk-ups welcomed, but its recommended to call 423-338-2000 for reservations.
