This cookout will honor first responders from Bradley, McMinn, Monroe, Meigs and Polk Counties. These are the individuals who put their lives on the line for us each and every day.
The event is open to all first responders, their families and the community, and will be held in the south parking lot of the George R. Johnson Cultural Heritage Center.
A free lunch of hot dogs, hamburgers and barbecue will be served to everyone who attends.
Individual donations will be welcome with all proceeds going to the academic programs at Cleveland State that educate and train first responders.
Businesses that want to participate but cannot release their employees may order lunches for pick-up for $10.00 per lunch.
If it rains the event will be moved inside of the building.
This event is made possible by generous donations and support from the following individuals and organizations: Alvin Word, Servpro, Southern Heritage Bank, SANTEK Waste Services, Blood Assurance, Tasteful Gatherings, Bradley Healthcare and Rehabilitation, and Don Johnson.
